car go smoosh and ack!
Posted in Gossip on 03/18/2004 06:45 am by enjanerdLeft work last night and headed out for my chiro appt before out for a night on the town for st. patty’s day. La la la… driving along. It’s raining. Starting to turn into a wintry mix. Red light, slow down… stop… smack! *confused* I didn’t hit the car in front of me… I stopped. Oh wait. I just got rear-ended. D’oh.
Anyway, like I said last time, I called the police first. Then I called my daddy. Then I called my bff. Then blog for everyone else to read about.
Made it to my appt and they had cookies and cake for green day. They were very nice and waited for me even though I was about half an hour late. And then they gave my sis and me extra cake because they were going to *throw it away.* :-O I can’t believe there are people like that. I think maybe they were just being nice though and wanted to share the cake. There was a lot left. Well, was before my sis and I left. Hehe. Tasty. In any case, decided not to brave the weather and stayed in for the evening. Yay for loafing. :) -J.
Edit: Oops, forgot to write about the damage. Not much on my car. The other dude’s hood got a little scrunched, but it looked superficial except for the weird noise his car started making… Back bumper on my car got dislodged a little bit on the sides. The other car got kind of wedged underneath mine, so the bumper was rotated about the bumper axis, if that makes any sense… All in all, it was a pretty slow-moving accident. Probably like 5mph.
