Grad school, here I come!!!

Woohoo! I got an acceptance letter from Virginia Tech today.

Was I worried about getting rejected? Not really… but, at the same time, I thought I wasn’t done filling out the application yet.

I spoke with my former adviser and he told me to go ahead and submit my app without my GREs and I could submit them later. So, I did.

And then: today! I got an acceptance letter!

Woohoo!!

    Congratulations

  4. Congrats! More proof that the GRE is pointless…Ian hadn’t passed on that you were applying. What are you going to VT for? And will this mean moving?

  5. Thanks, everyone! :)

Krissa — I’m planning to get my Masters in Ocean Engineering, so just more of the same. They have an online/distance learning program, so I can do it all from here while I’m still working. From what I understand, I’ll download lectures and email in homework assignments. You know, something to spend my endless hours of free time on…
