Flat Stanley’s Friend…
Posted in Life on 10/31/2006 09:33 pm by enjanerdOh, this is so exciting! I am updating today with the help of my shiny new monitor — an LG Flatron LCD. It matches the new one Ian got a few months ago. Surprisingly, he picked it out for me.
I now have space on my desk to have a book open and even some paperwork. This is good for working at home — No, I don’t mean doing extra work at home. I mean “working” from home. ;) — or getting ready for school next semester. And I can sit straight at my desk without having my monitor in the corner. This is all very exciting for me.
P.S. Happy Halloween! So disappointed that I came home early from work for the trick-or-treaters and we only got about a dozen. On the plus side, we now have leftover candy!

Flat Stanley, why do I know that? Some guy on a piece of paper zipping around household objects, wth was that from?

I don’t know. It started in Canada and I heard about it from TLD who heard about it from some little kid… either a cousin or a friend’s kid, maybe? Maybe you heard from one of your sibs? or when we were sending packages overseas? I heard there were a number of Flat Stanley’s getting sent to soldiers in Iraq.
Also, I’m going to assume since no one said anything, everyone got the title of this entry…

I totally remember now. I was discussing Flat Stanley in class night and they remembered. We did it in 2nd grade - you had to go around taking pictures with this little piece paper guy. Then you passed him onto another grade/class.
