But throughout the lecture, he’s talking about Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids. The only example he uses is that blood is a non-Newtonian fluid. So, if you’re trying to mathematically predict the flow of blood, don’t use these equations!
Right. Because I was going to do that. Thanks, man…

yeah… would you be surprised if i said “been there/done that” in college… my fluid mechanics class jr yr was all about blood and stuff. it was a pretty neat class. but yeah i’m guessing aoe’s won’t really be predicting blood mechanics as much as bme’s… lol.

Yeah, somehow, I don’t picture myself designing a ship that could maintain 40 knots in blood. That’s just… really not what I do.
