So, as I was leaving my building this morning, it looked like it was raining as I approached the main door to exit. This was especially confusing because there was still snow everywhere. And then I saw where the “rain” was coming from: the ground.
A 12″ pipe burst and they’ve shut off water to the entire building until they can get it fixed. I heard them preparing to shut off the water when I left the building at 7am. I got home at 4:30 and there’s a huge hole dug up in front of the main entrance. No idea when it’ll be fixed.
Around 2 or 3 this afternoon our internet at work went out. I actually had trouble doing my work because I had to physically look up unit conversions for one of the projects I was working on. Who manually calculates unit conversions anymore?? So, I finished what I needed to and came home.
Now I can’t decide what’s more important: water or internet?
