we can make some… I got some free time… I can spedn it building modular furniture… it’s just a bunch of boards cut and nailed together… I can even paint them for you to be the appropriate colors for the pieces…

Haha yeah, I was thinking it looks pretty basic too. Do you want a set? We could start mass-producing some just for ourselves. ;) That seems like something ikea should make. bunch of boards and connecting pegs and you can piece them together however you want.
This could be a good summer project. And I think I’d want to add some velcro or something to the pieces to increase friction/stability. Any other suggestions?
