I don't even do that. I only use concealer on my dark circles... and sunscreen underneath. I'm sure I'll use more the older I get. :(

Yes, I know you could've done my makeup, but then who would do *your* makeup? ;)

She does a lot of acting (theater, not the "wants to be on a reality show" kind), so this is kind of her area of expertise. I don't know if you knew about She Laq before, but that's the kind of thing I would never have known to even ask about.

And no to perfume. Just no. :P

you really don't need that much stuff to make up your face.

smashbox primer keeps makeup from seeping in to your skin and causing breakouts. then use a powder foundation to give a light coat or skip it and use a luminizing lotion instead (smashbox or clinique). a quick stroke of blush on the apples of the cheeks. eyeliner, mascara (covergirl last blast or maybelline waterproof or clinique are my favorites), maybe a quick dusting of eyeshadow if you have time (victoria's secret makes great ones as does lancome). then finish the lips w/ some mac lipglass or clinique lipgloss. not that difficult, 5 minute or 10 minute face max to be out the door in the AM. you can avoid concealer under the eyes, just dot it over acne spots or something if needed.

takes me about 3 minutes tops every morning b/c i slather on a bunch of acne cream/sunscreen/toner type stuff. then mix a little luminizing lotion (smashbox artificial light, tan shade) with my lotion, line the bottom of my eyes with a black pencil, run some mascara through my eyelashes, and then use some lipgloss and i'm ready to go w/ a natural no-mess look for the day. no mess, no fuss, ready to go in a snap.

so to modify your steps?
1. clean/tone/moisturize
2. powder or liquid foundation
3. blush
4. eyeshadow
5. eyeliner
6. mascara
7. blush
8. lips

add some perfume and you're done!

but the she laq does sound like a good idea for wedding day makeup.
