I keep having these moments when I realize… The future is now. And I adore it.

I was at a friend’s BBQ last weekend when I received an email from one of my classmates on my phone. I opened the email, downloaded the attached document, was able to read/edit the document with changes tracked so I could see the edits my other classmates had made, re-attach and email back. On my phone.

And this is for a class that I’m taking toward a degree that I’m earning completely online. Had I not gone to the same school as an undergrad, I wouldn’t even recognize half my professors if I met them in person.

Then, yesterday, Ian was at the store buying a card for a party we went to last night. He couldn’t decide which card to get, so he snapped a picture of his top 2 picks and emailed them to me. I called him back, we decided, and he was out of there in ~5 mins. And, again, this was on his phone.
